Meet The Founder
Shyam Kokku
Founder
Shyam Kokku built his career in the area of Human Resource management. He also headed businesses in India as Acting Managing Director for a French liquor conglomerate, Pernod Ricard. He also served on the boards of companies in India & South East Asia.
Shyam was Head of HR for Pernod Ricard India, ConAgra Foods India, Kirby Building Systems India before moving overseas to take over global responsibilities in Alghanim Industries in Kuwait. He was also Head of HR for some of Alghanim Group businesses like Kirby Building Systems, KIMMCO, Rockwool India, Alghanim Engineering, etc. He headed corporate functions such as Compensation and Benefits and played a key role in setting up green field projects in UAE, KSA, Vietnam, and India. He served in geographies covering India, South East Asia, Middle East, North Africa and Turkey. He also worked in different HR roles with BPL Group, UB Group, and TATA Group. He carries rich experiences and learnings from these companies.
